1979 Wellcraft V20 in good shape, with bimini top, motor does NOT run...trailer in good shape Cuddy cabin all vinyl in good shape, controls all work, Too much boat for my little truck... will also be willing to trade for smaller, running boat

Steve, you've been right BUSY...come up w/lotta nice buys...wish this guy was a little more specific about the motor..."does not run" could mean needs carbs rebuilt or there's a pushrod stickin thru the crankcase...

Yeah Oz, keeping a look out for all the enthusiasts here looking to get a V... I enjoy looking for them.

I've noticed there are some really good deals out there, but there are also a whole lotta guys asking way too much for their rigs the way things are in the current market.

Ive looked at a half a dozen in the last month. most were waaaay overpriced and in very very rough shape. this weekend i finally picked up a super clean one in Ct for probably a little more than i should have paid but it was by far the cleanest one i had looked at

It's amazing that some people simply do not understand that something as simple as washing an item will increase it's selling price by huge amounts, be it a car, boat or house... Lesson number one whan selling something... CLEAN IT!!!

washing was only part of the problem. mostly it was gelcoat neglect. these boats have a TON of wood in them, gelcoat keeps that wood dry. its not rocket science. gelcoat repair and maint. is very easy once you learn how to do it and it doesnt take alot of time.
