Trying some low tide flats action, Ozzie brought in the heavy hitter ringer to try and keep the trophy in South Carolina.

This is a boaters paradise, you can spend your whole life and not know every cut, every stream, and back bay or cut.
And that is just in the Charleston area alone.


I have had the good fortune and the honor of being in a few of these shots.

Rob started the ball rolling and led the way with this first short Red, there were a couple more shorts and two at least keepers I believe and my big donation of one keeper for the pot.
They taste good blackened, along with a nice Angus bone in ribeye, some baked beans fresh corn and good artisan Italian bread.
Some good beer and a few snorts of Evan Williams made the last night for me Rob and Steve a good one in his Class A motorhome at the KOA grounds.

You can't remember squat, you were busy drinking your special drinks, let me see if I can remember why the bar tender kept looking at you askew, umm , oh yea one part Jameson, one part Tequila, one part Vodka and a pint of vanilla ice cream, and any thing else sweet. Topped with a cherry and a dash of bitters.
Shaken not stirred.

I think you called it a slapper sandwich, or something similar, Rob probably remembers i will ask him.

I cant recall the name at this second but it was Jameson, tequila and "anything sweet, it dont matter" Will take me a while to put the apple pie recipe back together in my head but it was something cooked, Everclear, and supposedly when the shot settled in....."BAM APPLE PIE"
