I have tried the two flat bars, but got to thinking, why bother when the cav. plate & a large piece of the flat aluminum has been cracked ans JB welded...It's junk

I also have a 6 cylinder core (complete motor) Chev 250 with a cracked manifold / but with elbow I'd like to sell.....I'll post it under the classified section with pics. Can ya'll give me a ballpark figure, knowing she'll need rebuilding, of what it's worth including the flywheel, but minus carb (manifold to pan) - I'm running the carb on the rebuilt replacement (was done b4 I got it) and I have a couple of outdrives one Alpha and one real old one I'll post. I just think a new lower unit will give me a piece of mind since I took a beating from a horse trader & haven't even put her in the water yet....fishin is here, now!!
