That teak in pic 4 is thru-bolted through the deck and the nuts are probably buried in the upholstery.

I removed all of my teak, sanded, and finished with a Sikkens Cetol product. It was a big job and there's probably a better way. I think now that they're in better condition, I'll tape them off and treat with teak oil periodically.
