Jeffmo, I know you are passionate about this subject, and I fully understand your position. But you need to know that you do not have collective bargaining rights. Anyone that tells you that is lying to you. You may have the ability to bargain collectively, but there is nothing in the law or in the Constitution of the United States that says you have the right to it. You need to understand the difference between a right and an ability.

Rights are things that are given to you by God and cannot be taken away from you by any man. For example, you have the right to life. You have the right to Liberty. You have the right to persue happiness. These are things that no man can legally take from you. You do not, however, have the right to collective bargaining. That is not given to you by God and it can be taken from you by man. See the difference?

I truly hope that all sides in these very difficult problems can work something out that is agreeable to all parties. Would you agree with me that perhaps this is not the best forum for this type of subject, since it is filled with emotions on all sides and can easily lead to bitterness amoung various people here?

PS, Since I don't know, what is the significance of the number 5 with the slash through it that I see in several of the signs in the one picture? Just curious.
