Ok if you say so but you should still put it on eBay for $999,999.
![]() Yeah those are some nice LARGE teeth. Good finds for little E! I'm ready to hit the fields for some heads but need to make some fresh phone calls. It will help when the time changes and I have more daylight after work. We launched G's little boat with my 9.9 at pebble beach Saturday. Fun little maiden voyage. ![]() The little motor ran like a top after I installed a new impeller and pump housing kit. The LU had about a pound of sand in it and the impeller/impeller housing was mostly unrecognizable.

That was a sweet looking little skiff! That motor would be perfect for power drifting for flounder.

Yeah the little Salem Skiff is sweet. G is going to buy a motor for it but we wanted to test it out. I was curious to see how fast the 9.9 would push it. Even though the skiff has a 15" transom and the 9.9 is a longshaft (20") it still pushed the two of us 14 mph by GPS at WOT with 3 gallons of fuel and a little bit of gear.
The mid 70's model Evinrude 9.9 is unique in that all that is needed to convert to a 15 hp is swapping the carb with one from a 15 hp. Thinking about doing it. Looks like I can get one on Fleabay for a little over $100. I don't really need to do it, but it seems like the cheapest 5 ponies a man could ever buy!??!?!? Be on the lookout - I'm gonna put up a post of the maiden voyage with pics.
