You buy it by the foot. Just get more than you think you need. When you take the old hose off, cut the new hose to that length. In my '82, the tank in the floor back against the transom. Conservatively, I could probably plan for 18" from the tank to the water seperator. Another 18" from there to the shutoff valve. Maybe 4 ft from there to the primer bulb. Then 2 feet to the engine. 10 ft would cover it, I think. More if your tank is further up or if you have multiple tanks.

my tank is in the floor. vent and filler look to be about 6 foot the engine line looks to be about 10 foot to the filter then another 4 to engine. also i did not find any foam other than around the tank under my floors. my v20 cuddy is an 86 so i was expecting to find flotation.

Sounds like mine. Like aw says, measure and get enough (i.e. plenty). I'm real glad I pulled a pull-string in with the old line when I pulled it out (I pulled it out from the back). I fed the new one from the front and had someone pulling the string from the back - it was a bit of a fight, but it made the boat run again.

I guess thats what i will do is pull old ones out with pull ropes then measure. did not realize how expensive fuel line and filler lines were, much more than i expected.
