I think I had heard this same story sometime during the summer.

My only question of this story is where were and what were the Air MArshalls doing during all this.

I'm not saying this didn't happen I'm only saying I think I heard this story a few months back.

But that's what everyone should do, I'm getting sick and tired of other groups running over us and we're not doing a damn thing about it.

I say it's time to feel that adrenaline flowing again from bashing somebody's head in.
Oh by the way when you have these bastards down shove a porkchop up their azz.

As I read this story I was thinking B.S. the whole time. The scary part is that the story seems legit with a little TSA coverup, according to Snopes. It's from 2009, though.

Default Thanks for the clarification

Yeah, I know what you mean; my b.s. alarm was going off when I read it as well. I'll let the source know. THanks for the reference.

BTW, your refit photos are great. My '74 has some soft spots in the floor, and your post supplies solutions. Don't know if I'll get to it, but it's nice to have the know-how right there. Question: Did you add any flotation when you had the floor open? My '74 is pretty obviously a sinker, and I've felt like I want to add some.

Thanks, but I actually don't really know what I'm doing. Mostly I find a thread and pictures on this forum before I do anything to the V. So far it's going good. More pics coming this weekend, as I start to get the boat put back together.

I did not add foam, but I only had a small part of the floor open. I'm pretty sure that foam would actually decrease buoyancy (spelling?) because you're adding weight to the hull, but would provide for flotation if the boat flips. Not sure what's more important, but I guess it'd be nice to have a vessel to hold onto if you're floating in the Atlantic. Eventually I'll replace or remove and clean the gas tank & I'll replace that foam when I do. Sounds like it's probably waterlogged by now, from what others have found.
