your boat looks sweet, I like that wrinkle paint , I used it on my bumper on my work truck it does hold up ....great job bill

WOW! Your V is immaculate Great idea with the wrinkle paint, I have used it on some car projects and its great stuff. My throttle box is kinda crappy looking, think I'll try it on that

looks great. what is the teak box on the right side of the helm seat in the side of the boat? i have never seen storage there before..

As far as I know it only comes in black. I was going to ask that question myself on one of the forums. Right now it's only a door with no storage area, just access to wires for the radio. I think it had a tilt out compartment at one time judging by screw holes on the bottom of the door. Your guess is as good as mine.

Here's a few more pics on what I've been up to since I put her in storage for the winter. Went to replace the center pannels on the rear access doors and when I took the screws out the whole thing fell apart. As you can see what a mess. I also built a stand for the kicker.

Put a new lower unit on this fall and decided to dress up the upper to make it match. I sanded it all down almost to bare metal, went to the local paint store and had them make up a couple of cans of epoxy primer and top coat. This is the primer I put on a couple of days ago. I'll let it cure for about a week then spray the gloss black finish coat. Just ordered new alpha one decals to put on when I'm finished. Should look like new,I hope!
