I suspect that you're laboring under a false assumption. The original emblems were decals, not raised emblems. If you look carefully at the first pic I posted you can see where the original decal was, and all that remained of it. But it wasn't a raised emblem. I agree that an emblem would look crazy good, but it won't be original.

Check out this website. This guy is very well known and trusted on the ClassicMako website. He can make anything from custom instrument panels to boat name/emblem/placards. Dont know about aluminum but he is excellent with plastics.
He goes by ScottC on classicmako.com vebsite-- http://vectorled.com/

Hey Destroyer just looked at a few older 70's models it's funny some have the decals and others have the factory plastic ones as well had the large side Wellcraft logo in plastics which I have only a few small chunks that where still rivet to the side's. Looked a little bit more it appears Wellcraft made a few commercial V-20's that came with the raised panel plastic. Why did they make theses to drive me nuts looking for something only a hand full came with no-wonder I can't find them. Thanks for the info with out it I would have not know or looked a little more in to it. Still plan on making them maybe even the side ones not sure why just because I guess.

Mac is right. My 1974 V has the plastic emblems. They are intact but I would love to find a source for a couple of new ones.

My 74 also has the plastic V badges on the side as well as plastic wellcraft badges on the rear of the hull!!! I would be interested in purchasing both sets. My wellcraft badges are gone but the v's are still perfect but showing their age. Keep me posted

Sweet! Yeah both of mine were fully intact but I only had the two on either side of the cuddy. The Wellcraft emblems and lettering on either side were gone except for pieces. Anyone know of a source for those

I'm looking for the actual plastic emblems not the decals. Although I may have to use the decals because thus far the search for the plastic ones has been fruitless.
