Thanks for the welcome Link. Did you have to replace the teak, or was there enough left to restore. Been thinking about replacing all the teak except for the rod holders in the side.(they survived the weathering) CC is in the garage now with major restructuring happening. There must be hundreds of screw holes in this boat. Not when I'm through with it though. Can't have her looking like crap the first day at the launch ramp.

The wood was all there, and in generally decent shape--meaning not cracked or broken, but way ugly. It had been varnished prob 6 or 7 years ago. I like natural teak so I sanded it all down, then bleached it, looks clean now.

I have a bunch of screw holes that have been filled by PO, I just filled a bunch on my console. I will prob piant(Interlux Perfection) the top deck and console this winter. The hull and insides are in good shape, just need buffing.

My deck and stringers are rock solid, but looking for a transome job in couple years.

Here is a pic of the inside from couple weekends ago, all teak is now done

Post pics of the restructuring if you dont mind

Good one Drag!!

Rockfish? OH...UH, YOU MUST MEAN STRIPERS!
Almost time for ya'll to send those linesiders back down south for the winter. In NC we hunt the ocean stripers mainly in winter and some days it doesn't get much above freezing. The enclosure really pays for itself on those days.

Hey Blue-yeah same here. There are some resident fish around early season, some come down from the upper bay. The big-uns dont get here really till Dec. We run to the ocean(about 45 mins) and mainly fish off Rudee inlet off Va Beach. Sometimes we'll go further south to 'The Golfball' or to around the NC line. I guess its 50/50 around here- Stripers vs Rockfish HAHAHA!
