			Everyone has their favorites.. I like Garmin. I also like Lowrance and Hummingbird. If a company didn't make good products they would not be in business for long. With the internet everyone has access to tons of info, so ppl will know if a product is bad in a short time. That being said, any product that is on the market for a while means it's good. (IMHO)

			I use a 182C with a chip and I'm really happy with it.  I just installed it on my new boat (took it off my skiff).  Their factory support is hard to beat.

			Another happy Garmin owner here.We had a 182c on our Parker. Unit worked very very well. Our V has a 192c which is basically a 182 with the charts built in.
