Welcome to the madness. Where abouts are you from? You'll love your boat I'm sure once you get her up and running. Cant comment on you engine but I'm sure some of the resident motor heads will chime in shortly.

Welcome to the site. I had small tohatsu kicker motor on my sailboat. They are made by nissan. The thing was old, looked like crap, but it ran great. That's all I have.

Hi and wellcome to the site. Cannot comment on the outboard engine, but I can tell you from direct experience that their earthmoving equipment is top rate. (Excavators, Dozers and the like) If that is any indication of the company as a whole you should have no problems. Make sure you check the transom of that boat... if it has soft spots in the floor then it's prudent to check the transom also.
