Willy, with all due respect, you need to keep an open mind. If you read both Snopes articles, there was never any denial that the nine supreme court dockets existed. In fact, Snopes says that each of them did exist, but then goes on to explain how not one of the 9 cases had anything to do with President Obama's eligibility to serve as President. Sure, Snopes answered "False", but it was not to the question of whether the cases existed on the Supreme Court's docket, but rather, whether those cases lend any credence to the theory that Justice Kagan was appointed because President Obama owed her "big time" for serving as his counsel on the cases. And, by the way, that is what the Solicitor General does--represent the government in cases filed before the Supreme Court. The SG has no choice in the matter.

I rarely refer to Snopes and certainly do not accept whatever is said on Snopes at face value. However, I think you are accusing them here of intentionally lying when, if you read what they said, they did not.

You know something Nipper, you are right. I should be open minded and I have tried with several of the so called sources and the spins everything has on them. Snopes has been one of those.
I also am absolutely anti Press and the so called major media outlets like the AP, CBS,NBC,CNN,New york Slime and most of the other major market papers.
I will tell you why
They have an agenda, they stopped being journalists a long time ago.
Here is a classic example.
My sister just sent me the pics from a local small paper in Chicago, remember when the Obamination went to his home town a week or two ago. Did you see any reports of what happened there?
No, it either was not covered at all or it was given a passing mention on page 18.
There thousands and thousands of regular Joe and Josephines all over the down town, the place was shut down with protesters carrying all the tea party type signs, calling on congress and the Obamination to stop destroying this country.
They had to re-route the annointed one twice because of the huge number there.
Did you see all the pics on the news?
Did you see the reporting of approximatley one half million people on 8/28. They did everything they could to try and demonize, criticize, and under estimate what happened that great day on the Nations lawn.But there was a ton of coverage on the response from the race baiter Sharpton and his 2500 people protesting what those Americans did on 8/28 and it was given equal coverage all over the news and in some cases he was given more air time than Beck's 8/28 call to honor and faith on the mall.
There is one example after another going on and I don't trust them anymore.
Americans are waking up and the Snopes of the world had better get it right without the spin or they are thru

I don't think so, but I at least get both sides on every issue presented, now if you are talking about the opinion shows that is different, hannity for example is just that, he is a opinion show.
And apparently these opinions and the news reporting in general is way up there as far trustworthyness at least as far as the American people are concerned because they are now and have been for years the largest listening audience in the country, literally more than all the rest combined.
That says a lot in my book when the people have decided like that.

RWilson and Willy, I am with both of you guys on this, and that is why I say to keep an open mind. Media perceived to be on the far right have their agendas as do media perceived to be on the far left. Same with the politicians. The truth, and the proper path to recovery, lie somewhere in between. We are at a crossroads here, and could easily plunge into another, perhaps worse, depression than the great depression of the 1930's. There are many signs that we are already on the edge and ready to tumble over. We need real bipartisanship compromise here, and not far leaning agendas, or we are screwed.

Never trust a single source. All of them have their motives, agendas, and advertisers. I scan all the "news" sources and all of them lie, or at least spin the direction of the story to suit their masters. Ever notice how many ads are for pills on the major news channels? Mankind existed for thousands of years and somehow made it without Faux News, the Communists News Networks, and others pushing their medication down our throats.
