That worked really well.

I was on a head boat one time when a guy ended up with a big ole single hook in his hand just about where that guys was. One of the mates came over and without saying a word, pulled out his plyers, grabbed the guys hand, pushed the point through, cut it off, pulled the shank out, put away his plyers, went back to untangling lines.

I had to do that w/a 95 lb Black Lab once...he sniffed a lure a little too close...I don't fish w dogs anymore...

my god lumberslinger, that was awful...

Now I fear I will hook my dog in the eye. (Yes I will still take the dog fishing, but I am always fearful and careful about hooks, now even more).
