I was watching a show this morning on the History channel.
It was some gibberish about Hitler being prophecized in the bible.
It struck me that we are living in a time when a lot of parallels are happening.
Good people out of work, poor people struggling, economy, etc.
All it would take is some articulate person with a hidden agenda to start joining together all the downtrodden groups and BAM...

A lot of people think we are living in the end times... I don't know, and nothing I can do about it anyways... If God has decided that it's time to take his football and go home... well.. then I guess that's what he's gonna do. Game called on account of God. Keep yourself honorable and honest and you won't have anything to worry about.

The quote that sparked this interesting thread is actually a mix of quotes from several sources. The bit about "We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian," etc., was cribbed straight from a 2001 essay by Barry Loudermilk, who wrote those words for an essay in a local Georgia newspaper.
