Yamaha corrosion

I guess its the special since it has the computer on it. The tilt and trim is pretty rusty as well so I have a bad feeling that I could wind up sinking quite a few bucks into this and then have to let it go after a year or two. I may be better off saving that money for a newer motor. Ive found a few sellers on line that have good used engines for $3-5K so I may just go that route. If I do decide to sell it I'll let you know.

Thats how I would go Brielly, I believe that motors appearance on the outside would also indicate nothing good on the inside, exhaust all the tubes etc.
I don't like looking over my shoulder if you know what I mean.

If you can I'd wait until the end of boating season/winter. Prices fall out the bottom during the cold months when no ones boating.. You should be able to find a nice 150-200 in the $1000-2000 range. (Especially around Christmas time when people are looking for extra cash)
