Pete,
We will be down there this weekend (whichever day is nicer) We'll keep a lookout for you. BTW do you know of a good place locally to get yamaha parts? I'm not sure if the motor is staying or not. I'll have to check the compression and condition of the shift shaft. I got the new boat cheap enough to where I wont mind if the motor needs replacing.

Brad,
I think NJ outboards is a yamaha dealer. The place I work for is too. So is Ocean Beach Marina. If you need a hand with anything on it let me know. We are probably going on Sat. to tices. I'll keep an eye out for you.

Did someone ask for pics? There is some definite corrosion problems with the engine. I'm going to start another thread in the repairs section. Let me know what you think.

Default Yamaha dealer

South Harbor Marina in Waretown is a Yamaha dealer/parts supplier.
They have several certified Yamaha mechanics. What I really like about
them is they are very good with giving free advice to do it yourselfer's like
myself.

I finally got it sold today to a guy that lives 5 minutes from me. I told him about the site but I doubt he'll be on the forum much if at all. It sucks not having a boat in the water this time of year.
