Default Thanks Spare

SpeediSleeve - Tested sleeve retaining compound, but, even with the activator stuff it didn't set up very well, and the pitting in the cam was too deep, so I set the sleeve with JB weld.

It took three days, but I pulled the locating pins (a little Kroil, some harfing up & down with vice grips, more Kroil, etc. etc.). I almost gave up, but finally saw some little bubbles when I was working the vice grips and knew I had it.

Man - you were a great help - got it back together - the seal looked perfect and it ran without a drop of coolant leaking. Got it done just in time for a big family visit and was able to pull the kids around on the donut, which made their summer (they talk about their visit and the donut all year
Now I can get on with some cosmetic work and setting the boat up better for fishing around here.

Thanks again - you're what makes this site great.
