I have the yamaha 200 hdpi which seems to get great mileage,love joes 4 stroke though as its so so quiet. My boat is a 21 center console and pretty light,its like 2300 pounds dry weight and 3500 or so rigged with gear. We drive it pretty slow 30-34 mph or so but overall its very fuel efficient.

that Contender has nothing on the OX!! a tenth of the cost!
 No really its nice boat and we are at the same price now with all my improvements. And we are getting the same gas mileage with the 4 stroke on mine, and my boat is 3300 pounds before I add all my gear! I am going to rename Bobs boat to Queenie
