Tarpaulin's is one of our favorite haunts.

Looks pretty busy.

Are the cattle still roaming close to the beach?
Last time we were there (9/20/09?) we saw cattle just off the beach.

Yes, there are still cattle roaming in Tarpaulin Cove. Although I live in Connecticut, my mother lives on the Cape, so we sponge off her as much as possible in the summertimes. We inhabit Woods Hole, and keep our marine stuff (boats and a harbor-shack) in Great Harbor. And MJ, do you get to Vineyard Sound through Robinsons' or Quicks's or Cuttyhunk? Or do you just follow the fast ferry through Woods Hole Passage? If you're ever coming through in the summer, give me a jingle and I'd be pleased to have a couple cold ones ready.
