theres a large fuse right at the starter terminal, its 3/4 square and doesn't look like a fuse, check for power on both sides, .

The reason the breaker won't reset is cause it probably ain't tripped. This is where the magical test light comes into play. Like spare said go for the breaker/fuse on the starter solenoid. If bad replace it and get you a spare. If good, get a spare anyways. The only thing the engine does is provide power to the accessories so if ya got power at the engine then it's further up the line. Again Test light 101 is your only hope beside a multimeter. Good luck man.

Thanks, guys, I will give that a try. Neighbor was using his continuity tester light and prior to blowing the fuse, there was power to the terminal block at the blower motor fuse, but no power at the switch on the dash. Could it be that I have a bad switch? Who knows what he did to blow the other fuses. I should have known better than to let him help. He was about 3 1/2 sheets to the wind but was insistent on "helping." Thanks, neighbor!

Ah yes,DNAS(Drunk Neighbor Assistance Syndrome). Seen it a thousand times, this make 1001! Probe with the test light and you shall find the root cause of the problem, most likely the neighbor or at the very least a switch. Move afterwards!
