In the spirit of openness, I'm 4 trips out without a bite to report yet...
Been in the upper Narragansett Bay only so far, and primarily and trolling with lures. Will give some live bait a shot next week. Folks here are recommending sand worms |

It happens brother. We're trying to go to Hatteras for Memorial day weekend, offshore fishing. The low pressure has everything up in the air. There are 8 of us that are supposed to go but emotions are mixed as to whether we should push on or change plans. If the seas stay rough it is possible we may not be able to get out of the inlet at all. However we would be able to fish the sound every day for flounder.
One thing is for sure I'm not feeling all of this drama!

oh ya, I have lots of experience with this "fishing, not catching" thing. I was just pretty sure I was going to be successful that last time. Ain't gonna stop me!
The wife and I are planning a trip to NH over the long weekend, so I will be missing some prime fishing time. I'm hoping I can squeeze a fishin trip in before we leave but also have weather concerns. rkc
