I still use mine all the time, just not in crowded bi lots or whatever, especially along any major highways. Very common to be used at night in resturants.

One big resturant along Rt 22 got hit for over a dozen car entries a couple of months back. If you got a holder for a GPS unit or leave plug in wires stuck in the charger holes that is a big target also as they realize you probably stuck your units in the glove compartment.

In the town where I work GPS thefts are rampent. If you want to keep your GPS, don't leave it out where the SHlTHEADS can see it.

Around here they just bust the window, even if the car is unlocked! Our street crimes guys have a bait car that they always leave unlocked, they have to replace the drivers window 2 or 3 times a week, so I guess you are lucky MJ that yous guys have sofisticated theives up there.

I'm still a "newbie", never met MJ, but this smelt like a fake story from the get go. What thief wouldn't take a GPS. I also don't believe they would then target your home from the GPS unless they stole the whole vehicle and found a house key. There would still be no guarantee that no one would be home.

Also, doesn't he keep the video camera in the trunk?
