Default Hello I'm new and from Oklahoma

Just wanted to see if any locals my area are on this site?
City is Ninneka bet youve heard of that.
I did put a contract on a 1987 sport fish 20 today.
Doing boat trial Saturday to see how she runs. Boat has a 1987 200hp
evinrude I was told it runs very good.
The boat looks good to me at least no cracks dings etc. A little Dull
but not bad. We tried to move the moter up and down ended moving trailer on it's springs so the thing seems solid.

So Hi to every one here.

Welcome to the site, Deepguy. Hope the boat turns out to be a good one. Put up some pix if you get her. There are some pretty nice big lakes out in OK, right?

Lake Texhoma and Lake Murry in Oklahoma most of the time.
Want to do some stripper fishing big time.
I hope some one gets on here to least show me ways to get started
on my local lakes.

Hey Deep!!...welcome to the fun!!...if you found an 87 w/no dents or dings, you did pretty good!!...

I do a LOT of freshwater striper fishing...how you fish for them, largely depends on what kind od bait or lures are available to you...our main "go to" is live Herring...bat-shops around here sell them now, but back in the day we used to stay up all night and net them under lights, then fish stripers all day w/ the herring for bait...15-20 lb line and a 1 1/2 oz barrel-sinker to get you down to them...in winter we free-line w/only the hook thru the herring's nostrils...free-lining requires an electric trolling motor to move around SLOWLY (just enough to keep the free-lined bait out behind the boat)...let me know what yer using and I'll try to steer you to 'em...large minnows (shiners) work great too...here's a local freshwater record caught last year...63 lb 4 oz...

I don't even know this guy, but I wish I did!!...

Default Some Boat pic's I hope

Here is a few pictures for starters.
We had 4 adults in the boat that day. My wife took the pictures but only
got 2 inside and those were of Javan my son and I.
I've already had more fun just chating with you all than you can
shake a stick at.

I can tell it's a great boat just by looking at it.
I'm new to Wellcraft boats and noticed there are not many sport fish
around like these as far as I can tell am I wrong?
