Hi all,
Bad news. The person was supposed bent the tube of 2 inches for the support rods is gone with the wind. In fact, maybe it's not bad news ... According to you, taking the tube which is used for the exhaust of vehicles mufflers : Do i will have the same rigid structure which will ensure a secure assembly during transportation? If yes, great! for 40 feets it would cost $ 140 welded and bent and another $ 125 for the electro - static painting. If you do not know the answer but you know someone who i can contact to get accurate information, I'd be very happy to communicate with him to begin my project.

I kind of thought the same thing, but have mercy on poor JeanF whose native language is French. Anyway, JeanF, I think you need to try to rephrase it because I have read your post several times and I cannot figure out what you are asking (and I think Tuna is in the same boat). Maybe MJ the windtalker knows exactly what you are saying though.

OK, read it again along with your original post in this thread. It seems you are looking to make a rod holder out of 2" tubing that is commonly used for automotive pipes. Sounds like you are going to make a support bracket (hence the bending and welding) and then the individual rod holders out of the same material, then have the whole rig painted. Am I on the right track?

Looked at Simple Gesture's gallery and now know you are wanting to build basically a radar arch to use for rod holders. I do not know whether automotive exhaust tubing would work or not. Some one else will have to weigh in on that question.
