I guess I am immune. I usually go at it without any gloves. In fact I get such a buildup on my fingers I need a scraper to get it off. It is not a wax but more of a coating. The stuff reminds me of floor wax. It will take a very dull finish and bring it back to a shine and it works well below the water line to prevent hull staining but I'm not sure if I would use it unless you decide to commit to it from now on as it is a pain to remove after the fact.
After you prep the hull by using the diluted blue prep solution and a scotch brite pad (basically wet sanding with chemicals). Then you use the applicator provided in the kit to wipe the stuff on. The shine builds as you apply more coats, six coats work real well. You never wipe it off. Lasts about a year depending on your lattitude and how you store the vessel. Reapply every year from now on OR use the prep full strength with more scrubbing to remove the Poli-Glow and go back to compounding and waxing???
Since the sealer reminds me of floor wax the prep is probably industrial strength floor stripper. Did the prep make you sick, give you chemical burns, or did the sealer mess you up?

It may have a been a combination of both, but I think it was the sealer, when I put it on the temp that day was upper 90's and I think with my hands and forearms sweating it went staright into my pores.
