Opinions Wanted on 2005 Mercury 150HP

Decisions, decisions! Another motor popped up. It is a 1999 Johnson 150 for $1000 less than the 2005Merc. What will have to happen to make it work on my boat? Would it be better than a Merc?

Uhhhh . . . make sure that's not a "1999 Johnson" Ficht 150 (really a 1998 Johnson 150 Ficht).

Says it's an OceanPro 150HP M# J150PXEES Don't see FICHT anywhere. It is grey in color with a horse emblem on it.

That should be one of the best engines that OMC ever made then. They aren't the best on fuel, but make up for it in longevity.
