V4, 140 horse would do around 35mph, get good gas hours and carry a fair load. The 115 might do near 30mph, light loaded and well balanced. The step hull of these boats can fool you.
V6, 150 horse will get (+,-) 2.5mpg but carry any load and do up to 45mph. Besides the more room of the outboard, you also have the coolers/storage in the floor, taking up less space. Go for it!!
