1980 Johnson 140hp

Are you guys saying that the 140hp 1980 johnson is only rated at 115hp..

I don't remeber exactly when they changed the ratings, but they went from flywheel hp to propshaft sometime in the 80's. From what I've heard, the 140 crossflow makes around 120 at the shaft, they dropped the compresion also when they built the 115.
