I think your friend has been unaffected by the poor economic conditions ...and seriously, good for him...nice boat, but I share your concerns re the Volvo...if it had more hours and due for repower, now that'd be the ticket...Steigers built like a TANK!!...

Classy boat CTT. I know nothing about diesels, Volvo or otherwise but if the Volvo marine parts are anything like the auto parts price-wise, these guys bring up a good point.

Theres a couple of these boats in my marina and I would rank them up with a parker.

Have heard only good things about the steigers. Basically a parker but made without wood (atleast now, not sure about 1989). Their 23' pilothouse is one of my favorite boats.

My friend has the 23 Steiger Block Islander. Really nice boat. And I have heard the same as csvencer, like Parker but "no wood used".

nice hull aren't those foam core hulls and the Parker doesn't build a I/O since the late 80's, but alot like them.
