i took a piece of 3/4 pvc and banged it through. the epoxied the ends and dressed with a dremal tool..

I'm seeing more and more boat manufactures using the pvc, especially in composite transoms

I ended up using 3/4" PVC. The plastic sleeves were not quite long enough. I epoxied the ends as suggested above. I will post pics after fairing and touch up. Went Well! Thanks!
