HEY GUYS
Thanks for the warm welcome! I am in Sebastian Florida (treasure coast) So, what's the deal with my reg. numbers? You should see some of the floating junk that runs up and down the ICW down here. I know one of the local water cops and they seem to care way more about DWI and insane fishing violations than registration numbers. You'd be amazed at what some guys try to get away with. It makes me sad/angry because it only take a few bad apples to screw it up for the rest of us. Thanks again!!! Rob |

as it should be....they should be more focused on that stuff rather than reg numbers but if you get somebody on a bad day.... in NJ the regulations read amongst other things they must be displayed "as high above the waterline as practical". thats definitely kind of funky what you got there.
Hey one of our most revered members (Franco) is in your area. Good luck with the boat ....looks great.

I actually had one guy comment, "the numbers are a little too close to the letters, for my taste".
I asked, "you gonna write a ticket, or you just gonna *****". He shook his head, half rolled his eyes, waved his hand and let me on my way.

Define practical though. I must be the only one so far that likes it so far.
When I cleaned off the old letters on mine for the new ones I really liked the way it looked without them up there. Here in MS, on our expiration decal we get a picture showing where to put the letters. In the picture it would be where you have it now. Thought about being a wiseguy and putting it there Figured they would hassle me every trip out, so I put it back up above the bumper. |

Hey franco,
I know Tom well! I have a job working on the water and see him just about every day. You're right, he can be moody, but I suppose I'd be moody too if I spent all day in the hot sun dealing with idiots. Hopefully some day we'll meet up. Maybe you can show me some fishing spots!! ![]() Rob |
