Don't go the Plexiglass route!! I found out the hard way what Plexiglass will do. When I bought my boat it had clear glass. My street has been undergoing major reconstruction and the dust is unbelievable. Well, I washed the boat after it had sat out there with this dust on it and everything got clean except the starboard window. The grit has scoured the plexiglass window and left it very hazy. I'm looking to replace mine sometime in the future, but must save $$$ for the motor first.
Oh and I forgot the other problem I have with the Plexiglass one. It fogs up very quickly and doesn't burn off the fog like the other two glass windows do. Just noticed it. Last edited by HookedOnMarsh; 09-20-2009 at 08:29 AM. |
