See, I just don't see the need to install all those dang updates. Years ago when I did that religiously, I always ended up with headaches. Like I said, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

My old monitor was a Dell flat screen, maybe I need to search online for one just like it (Amazon or some such).

Computer specs? Here goes. Dell DIMENSION DIM 4550, Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.53 GHz 256 MB of RAM, running Windows XP 5.1 Home 2002, with 55.8 GB capacity. And that's all I know about that. Like I said, I'm a simple man with simple needs.

Disclaimer: I'm computer stupid. I don't know about operating systems, I don't download newer versions of stuff. I only use it for internet surfing, work spreadsheets, and some simple photography stuff. My motto: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
I am a system administrator. I was a programmer for several years prior to becoming a system administrator. I feel the same way you do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! REEELY! I got fed up with my home PC so now I just use my work laptop and the company maintains it. I hate computers! Very ironic, I know considering I support hundreds of users and manage at least a dozen servers UNIX and WINDOWS. I guess since I do that sort of thing for a living I really don't want to do it during my free time.

Sorry Pipe, wish I knew what to tell ya. Hey, pro tip here - get Tsub's wife's phone number and ask her!
