85 v20 fishman...whats it worth

Transom look great. Checking on the floor but my first check seems fine. What areas should i pay the most attention to? As far as the market, I live in the middle of nowhere and I really like the fact that I know the owner and he keeps his stuff perfect. I found another one with a much older motor for slightly less but it's 3 hours away.

I agree with byg. I think i'd offer him 6 for it. There are some CRAZY deals on boats these days... Just ask BYG... ;)

I agree with offering the $6k, but I would not hesitate to go to the $7k. I always find real peace of mind when purchasing something used when you know the history and know it has been maintained right. The garage kept thing is really nice, and the low hours on the motor are a real plus.

As far as the transom goes, I have read many of the posts which say to stand on the motor with it tilted up a bit and see if you can feel any flexing.

I agree with Nipper....with a 2004 motor and that nice T-top, 6K would be a GOOD price...7K is a fair price. Being he is a friend as well....I think you could both be happy with that.

don't know if your going to do a lot of trailering, but i think that is the worst part of the deal. also, i would do a compresson check and test run in the water. agree with everybody else, personal knowledge is a big plus...

Not sure what you mean about trailering. It's fine,new tires, rollers etc. I live on the water and have a boat lift so that where it will be most of the time. The transom appears very solid. Where do most of the floor soft spots occur?

if you only use the trailer for maintenance or storms, it looks fine. some have long hauls to get to the water on the weekend. might just be the pics, but that trailer looks like its sitting low.
