Ok, I'll bite...drifting eels with medium spinning tackle? Or a special plug pulled right in the propwash? Am I getting warm?

Nope C-4 is my friend, I don't use eels much, I have better luck with 2 other baits but you have to match 1 of them to poles, they dont work as well on some poles as others.
But the magic is in the cousins "Mr Shortie" and "The Bastard". It took me about 15yrs to find out what to purt on these 2 poles and that includes the reels also with the bait. Keep guessing Blue, I'm as tight lipped as trying to get the info out of "Mr Shortie" and "The Bastard".

The rods mysteriously draw them next to the boat in a daze and you free gaff them without even wetting a line.

Wish I would of seen this earlier
Me and the ol lady were @ my families beach house in sneads Ferry coulda cruised up and hung out while you were there. Oh well maybe next time. I need to catchup and meet some of you NC guys when we go down to the beach for some fun in the sun. Glad that you like our coast Willy did you like that Carolina Custom Sportfish? or I think thats what it was definately looks like a Carolina Custom.
