Ferm, god knows I love ya and all people on this site but that is scaremongering crap. Glen beck is so over the top dramatic on this one that it is laughable....Do you guys really think there is some group of government computer geek g-men tracking your *** after you log on to a car website.?

Listen to what the other talking heads are saying on the clip...I love the way they justify this crap by stating the other sides argument, doing it with that smug , laughing all knowing attitude they have, ".its just a disclaimer, its to prevent fraud" is there any possible chance that that is exactly what it is???.

I wont take credit for this observation but one of the comments someone posted after the clip suggest to read googles disclaimer....they can track pretty much every darn thing you do online after instaling their software but we use it with complete impunity because we dont think that Google is going to use it for harm.....so why must we think that the goverment is going to?

This country survived Carter and Clinton, it survived Reagan and the Bush's. It will survive Obama too and whoever the next poor jack *** is that gets into office.....lets get on with it.

Beck is a neocon schill. He talks about **** I thought about 15-20 years ago when I was just starting to take the blindfold off. Nothing he mentions is news. He is the line in the sand for the powers that be. He's gotten 100 times worse sinced he joined Faux News.

I do think they are tracking your ***, just 'cause you're not paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you.

lol log on it then tell us what happens next, and the answer is YES they can track you from a log in all sites can and do unless you run a program like errorpro to clean your reg and history often. you as i can tell are not in the IT world. As a Network Admin yes i can tell you this is 1000% do-able as we do it in our offices, and i work for the state so if the state is doing it you think the gov isn't ha ha the jokes on you then.

I know what they could do 5 years ago was enough to scare the living SH!T out of people, I can only imagine how much better tracking equipment has gotten over the years. I know I'm a conspiracy theorist and all that wears a tin foil(or armadillo shell) hat, but out government is doing everything it can to get us to give up our freedoms without having to take them. The true fearmongering isn't from people like Glenn Beck, but more so from our government.

http://www.infowars.net/articles/may2008/020507DNA.htm

It's funny (not really) how nobody even raised an eyebrow when this happened...once the DNA is harvested and stored it becomes the PROPERTY of The United States Government and they can do whatever they want to with it...nobody got mad about this...

its like a sci-fi movie. only worse. i wonder if they could use it to convict those in crimes. as in when the babies get old enough to commit serious crimes, which is around 12 y.o. these days.

Sure they can...it's their property to do with what they want...if you had a child born after this bill went into affect, they could CLONE your child if they want to...

Now everybody's hoppin' up and down about government intrusion under the present administration...it's all small potatoes compared to this...

thats odd that the bill didnt make alot of noise. you would think that having your dna in the hands of the gov. would be worthy of the news. anyway i bet all those cars getting traded in and crushed are going to be given to the Chinese to pay off some debt. too bad scrap metal prices arent what they used to be. does anyone know what they are going to do with the cars? i mean if they are going to crush them and sell the scrap to yards shouldnt that effect the price of steel ,iron?

Guys, regarding what you may think of glenn beck, that disclaimer is true and is very scary and is an open door to your privacy, now, you've been advised, act accordingly.

Skools, read what I said. I do not deny that we can be and are tracked through our internet usage. What I questioned was will our being tracked be used for harm against us or should I say ME in particular. I have no doubt that if I start sending emails to Pakistan or start talking about blowing up a federal builidng on line that I may very well be paid a visit by uncle sam. and maybe I should be. The point of the matter is that if I log on to cars.gov and I start getting tracked the g-men will find out that I spend too much time on website talking about old boats.
