sounds like a nice rig. run a comp check, then tear down the carbs just to be on the safe side and have fun. you would probably want to check out the normal yam issues, depends of the year though, shift shaft rusting, trim motor rusted, block corosion, corrosion in the heads. get him to sign a sales agreement saying that you have a day to renag on the deal then water test it yourself. just an idea.
