Charlie, I know the feeling somewhat.
When my boat was out of commission for steering issues I got a ton of work done around the house that would have never gotten done otherwise. Every cloud has a silver lining, in some way shape or form. Hang in there tuna man, you'll be back before you know it.

y'know, i've never been much of a surf fisherman. may give it a go during the fall run. cant believe how long the summer feels without a boat. i've never done this before.
