Maiden voyage went without issues other than the 115 was a serious underpower for this hull. Just slapped a 225 on her... I cant wait to see what she will do on open water even with a little junk in her trunk...

We went out of Ponce Inlet (new smyrna beach for the uninformed), on the water for about 10.5 hours with max distance from shore at about 2-3 miles. Gorgeous day for fishing! Totaled 2 rockfish, 1 sheepshead, 2 Jack Crevalle, and 4 Bonnethead sharks about 30-40 each...

You guys are lucky at 2-3 miles offshore for a fishing trip. Around here we typically run about 20 to 50 miles if we want to catch anything other than sharks and hardhead catfish. Red Snapper fishing starts at 40 miles.

And as far as going 2-3 miles, that was a maiden! I have a 60gal tank with some reserve, so I plan on going out with the bigger boats soon. Would LOVE to get some big sea-donkeys on the line! |

Yeah, my dually doesn't have a windshield either; I like it that way too...
I've never seen a cuddy without one though; I like the way it looks.
