will it rev up out of the water on muffs? yeah the fuel filter could do it, look around for another filter you don't know about, I bought a wellcraft 250 from Bygracealone and he had motors issues twice and i found that someone had installed a fuel filter set for the twin outboards one in each supply fuel line under the floor and one was stopped up and no one knew they were under there. it could be a stopped up fuel pickup in the tank or it could be the pickup line in the tank has a pin hole in it sucking air when not completely full, or loose fuel line or fitting somewhere causing it to suck air. just a few thoughts.

Well a pain free fix.I checked filter inside fuel pump and it was holding quite a bit of debris.I would have liked to replace but not the easiest to find on your local store. Its sits under the pump and is shaped like a half an egg.A little bit of cleaning and she was back runnin like the wind !! Thanks SKool!!
