Just a suggestion.. When I needed to look around inside of my hull in those odd and hard to get to places, I stuck my digital camera in as far as I could reach and started clicking away! When transferred to my computer, I was amazed at what I could see now and move around to examine all of those tight spots. Not to mention with the Zoom feature on my computer I could get detailed closeups of any area I needed to check. Cheap, and easy...

That's a great suggestion. I noticed other people's posts sometimes contained pictures that were taken by just holding the camera in some place where it was hard to put your head. Next time I'm going into the bilge, that's the ticket.
