We'll do as soon as I get this seastar helm installed! I have to cut a 4" hole this evening for the helm. Existing hole is only about 3" and just won't do.
P.S. I bought a new impeller today...been meaning to do it anyway. I'm sure the one in it still works but impeller is nothing to skimp on when it comes to maintenance! Also bought a brand new racor, with clear sight bowl while at Surfside. If its peace of mind I'm after, I ought to have plenty of it after spending $1200!!! Can't wait to hit the water either this evening or 1st thing tomorrow morning.....will report! Blue

keep an eye on that cable, sounds liek the outer cable housing may be pulling out from the crimped end, the cable adjustment will keep moving

Yeah, I know...its gotta go. It is working fine though but I don't trust it one bit.
