Here's a shot of my work Harley and I on the deck of the USS NC in Wilmington.
 This is one of the PD's new Honda's.  That's my CBR on the left.  I too am still paying for going down on I-40 in 2001.

Awesome pics!
That a st 1300? NICE police bike! I hate the couple motorcycle cops (and most city cops) around here. They are on such a power trip and are major azzholes.

Here with my 08 Hypermotard, 9500 miles in 8 months, I know I am a "little" crazy, but life is too short to be wasted. We just buried a 48 year old friend who was strong a a bull, fun as a clown, and a great Dad and coworker, got sick with some bacteria on his lungs, and a month later he is "Up there" in Heaven. I don`t waste one second.
I ride my boat every weekend, and ride my bike every day rain or shine. Well, before becoming a boater, I was a motocross rider, riding since 3 years old, every day, and I am 46, thats a lot of handlebar time, honestly, I still love bikes more than boats, BUT, in the boat I can behave nice, hang with my kids and friends, and relax. I am an aircraft mechanic, ride bikes every day, and boats on weekends, I think I am a little loco loco....

Just came across this thread while searching for something else. Yup, I ride and have broken wings thanks to a peterbuilt. I have met some really nice state trooper bikers, they used to stop before Pats games and borrow some heat from our barrel fire.
Stinky: Love the "dress to slide not ride", never heard that before. Randleman: Awesome picture of you on the ship!
