Hey C to add to my post, I installed a flush mounted thru hull in my inbd, it works great and wasn't hard to do. The flush mounted ones are better because you don't have to have a guard around the sensor to protect it.

I posted pics of the installation.

I posted pics if you search under my name when I changed out my motor (repower) and took pics of the job.
