Default Nothing wrong with a Mako

There's nothing wrong with a 21' Mako. Their 20 footer rides hard and wet but there's enough deadrise on the 21' hull to make it ride great without too much roll.

I will be adding a kicker. I mounted this 10hp short shaft sea king on the transom to see how one would fit. It does fit well and the motors would not hit once the steering is connected. It appears the short shaft may work but it probably needs a 20" shaft. I will be looking for something about 20hp.

I had a 9.9 yamaha 4 stroke on a 24 grady as the kicker. It worked better than a 25 hp 2 stroke on my v20. Check out the 4 strokes designed as kickers unless you have a big 2 stroke just laying around. Mine had a stainless linkage connecteing the kicker to the main motor that worked well too. You really don't want to hand steer a kicker from the motor well for 5 hours....been there and never want to do it again.

Nice boat!

I got my check for title transfers back today. Post office found it lost in the mail. No titles with it.

Found the titles. They got sent back to the guy I bought the boat from. He said they're ripped in half
