i thought of that .. but thought again that it would be easier just to build up the area where the guauges go and where the steering wheel goes.
the other problem is that standing up, you cannot see the gauges real good the way they are mounted .. they are designed to be seen if you are sitting while driving.. i have a leaning post now. if i raised the area where the wheel is a few inches .. and then raised the whole back of the gauge area .. something like builderfl did with his console.??? |

cheaper and easier to sell your console a buy or build one you like. Don't ruin your 2008 season biting off more than you can chew. Those projects take lots of time.

yeah it's best to just build another like you like it and use the boat till the new one is finished then sell the old one and install the new one
