15lbs will put MJ on the bottom!
We used to play with weights in the pool, didn't take much to be impossible to stay afloat.

I think the problem was that the anchor was fouled on a lobster pot line so it was more than just the anchor pulling him down. Unfortunately once the line got wrapped in their prop he was essentially tied between a string of pots and the prop.

Good reason to always have a knife.

BIL of a friend of mine lost his balance and fell off the bow of his bass-boat the other day at Lake Murray...no anchor rope to pull him down, but heavy boots, bibs and extra clothing (plus he's overweight) he was not able to pull himself back aboard...even w/help from his grown son...had to take boat to shore and dock to get back on...back to ramp for dry clothing...had he been alone, it'll probably be over with for him...
