Great post and pics! Should have taken the trusty V though and saved yourself all those headaches. Goodwill was throwing out one of those bike carts, but I got there too late. What kind of fire sticks ya'll shootin'?

Took a CVA St Louis Hawken for backup.
I had a CVA MagBolt 150, neighbor had a CVA Hunter Bolt.
All shooting sabots with .4295 Hornady 180gr XTP
Don't know why they call it "primitive" when in-lines, scopes and compounds can be used.
Ought to be percussion, flint, sidelocks, and long or recurve.
At least they won't allow crossbows but then again they are about as primitive as you can get!

It was a toss of the coin to take the V, maybe in a couple of weeks at the gun hunt.

Default Just received the perfect joke for this

A professor at the University of Minnesota was giving a lecture on 'Involuntary Muscular Contractions' to his first year medical students.

Realizing this was not the most riveting subject, the professor decided to lighten the mood slightly. He pointed to a young woman in the front row and said, 'Do you know what your a$$hole is doing while you're having an orgasm?'

She replied, 'Probably deer hunting with his buddies.'

It took 45 minutes to restore order in the classroom....

willy, hopefully, during the gun hunt I will remember to take the camera while actually hunting. Those were taken at the camp the last day before leaving.
Besides the marsh, beach, tide differences to over 9 foot, sand dunes up to 30 foot, cactus, sandspures, palm trees and palmettos, those are a few more things that make it "different" hunting there.
